Mrs. Salsbury is a full-time nursing faculty at Bryant & Stratton College in Virginia Beach (BSC-VB). She has taught RN-ADN students in the areas of Medical-Surgical nursing, Leadership, Maternity, Pediatrics, Mental health, and previously performed the role of student liaison for the nursing program. She began her journey in nursing education in 2018 with Bryant and Stratton college and has assisted in bringing the NCLEX first time pass rate from 67% (2020) to 97% (2023). She is the lead chair for the Admission and Progression Committee, as well as an Advisor for the OADN national honor society at the Virginia Beach campus. She has been a Registered Nurse for eleven years, focusing on Women's Health and Nursing Leadership. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing Leadership & Management in April 2017 from Western Governor's University, and then served as the Clinical Care Leader for The Center for Birth in Norfolk, VA. She is an active member of the National League of Nursing (NLN) and the Organization of Associate Degree Nursing (OADN).
