I am the Assistant Director of the RN-to-BSN Program at UAB. I received my ADN from Walker college and then my BSN and MSN from the University of Alabama. As a staff nurse, I have worked in a variety of roles (all critical care and ED) before taking on numerous management roles as supervisor, a manager, and a director at numerous medical centers in central Alabama. I started as full-time faculty at the UAB School of Nursing in 2014 after several years as an adjunct.
