Maryann Magaldi is a Professor at Queensborough Community College where she has taught for over 30 years. During this time Maryann has tracked students from admission to graduation and helped identify obstacles to success. Data generated from cohort tracking enabled the growth of early intervention programs that Maryann designed and often facilitated.. During her tenure as a nurse educator, admissions and retention of caring students has been an ongoing passion. .Maryann views advisement and mentoring, as an essential competency of the community college educator and a critical component to student success. Maryann has authored several articles on remediation, exam analysis and clinical innovations and is an enthusiastic educator who loves teaching the art and science of Nursing .
