Dr Elizabeth Robison has over 40 years of nursing, along with supervisory, management, and education experience in a variety of roles in the United States Air Force and higher education. She obtained her BSN from Duke University and MSN from University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her education background is that of a life-long learner, competing her terminal degree at the University of West Florida in 2012 focusing on Curriculum and Instructional Technology. Her certifications include: Certified Nurse Educator with the National League of Nursing and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator – Advanced with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). Dr Robison retired a second time in 2022 having served as a tenured faculty member within the Department of Nursing primarily working in the ADN program at Northwest Florida State College since 2006. Her last role she served as the Simulation Center Coordinator; involved with simulated clinical experiences for all students in the program. She serves in volunteer roles within simulation as a board member for International Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) as Treasurer-Secretary, facilitator for INACSL Simulation Education Program, and a member of an OADN Simulation Committee. Dr Robison has previously presented at OADN, INACSL and SSH conferences. She is now involved as a consultant, working with simulation programs both stateside and international.
